Travelodge opened its latest hotel in London on October 1 2007. The 392-room property is located on City Road near Old Street and is part of the budget hotel group's expansion in London in the lead-up to the 2012 Olympic Games.

Travelodge plans to open a 297-room hotel at Heathrow's Terminal 5 and a 150-room hotel in Euston before the end of the year, with a 202-room property scheduled to open in Southwark in March 2008.
