flyLAL: To launch STN-Palanga flights |

flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines, national carrier of the Republic of Lithuania, is starting direct flights from Stansted to Palanga on May 17 2008. Palanga lies in the west part of Lithuania, near the Baltic Sea, on the country's so-called "amber coast". The new flights will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays, leaving Palanga at 06.55 and arriving at Stansted at 07.25. Return flights depart Stansted at 08.15, arriving at Palanga at 12.50 (all times local). In addition, flyLAL will increase STN-Vilnius services from May 16 to four flights a week. The airline already operates a daily service from Gatwick to Vilnius.
