American Airlines: October launch for STN-JFK |

American Airlines is to begin daily flights from Stansted Airport to New York JFK Airport from October 28 2007 and will add a second daily service from April 7 2008. Flights will be operated using Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 221 seats, including 30 in business class. The airline has also announced that, from March 30 2008, it will begin flying daily from both Gatwick and Heathrow to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (it currently flies there only from Gatwick), and will transfer its daily Gatwick to Raleigh/Durham (North Carolina) flight to Heathrow.
